Reagan + Andrew

Andrew and I met at our Alma Mater, Hillsdale College, while I was in undergrad and he was finishing his Masters. He walked into the room I was studying in, sat down, and just started talking (neither of us got much paper writing done that evening). It was apparent from the beginning that we had common horizons and see the world in a very similar way. We had a few more of those long conversations in lieu of studying and started dating a few months after!

We got engaged on a hike at Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Andrew had planned an 11 mile hike along the shore of Lake Superior. After enjoying the spectacular autumn colors surrounding the trail, he proposed on a beautiful lakeshore bluff, while the waves crashed below. Afterwards, we enjoyed the views and one another’s company- in spite of the fact that the hike was about 2 miles too long-before meeting our families after to celebrate.

I am a born and raised Montanan, and have always dreamed of getting married in Montana. Red Lodge was where I took Andrew when he visited for the first time. We are excited to introduce our friends to the area and get to celebrate in the Beartooths!
