Love Stories

Megan + Nathan

In January of 2022, I met Nathan in a tiny Wisconsin town. He was sarcastically funny, polite and oblivious to the fact that I thought he was handsome. To my dismay, multiple weekends went by and he still had not caught on to my subtle hints. So, eventually I did what any girl would do and stated, "I have an idea for you. You should ask me on a date." To which Nathan, shocked, responded "Would you like to go on a date?" Some may say I was a little pushy, but let's face it, those of you who know our personalities will say that makes total sense. But, I think that is just one of many reasons why we compliment each other so well.

Fast forward to the weekend after I graduated from dental school. Nathan had planned a trip to the Apostle Islands in northern Wisconsin. It was a place I dreamed of visiting before moving away to my initial duty station with the Navy. His first item on the agenda was a hike near the lakeside cliffs to see the sea caves. During the hike, I didn't understand why he seemed like he was in a rush and walking slowly at the same time. Then I realized this may be the moment he is finally pushy... and pushes me right off the side of the cliff. Instead, on May 24th he got down on one knee and I said "yes". Except this time it wasn't even my idea.

Nathan and I are grateful, for many reasons, to have booked our big day with Montana Wildflower Wedding. The venue is absolutely beautiful and we believe it will provide the Montana experience that we want to provide for our family members that have never been out west. Further, as a current military member with a schedule that is unpredictable and ever changing, Keri and her team have greatly relieved stress by being understanding, consistently kind, and always willing to help. For that we are excited, more than ever, to celebrate our love for one another in Red Lodge.
