Margaret + Jeremiah

"Of all the gin joints, in all the towns, in all the world, she walks into mine;" is how Jeremiah would best describe the night we met.

Our story begins, on a windy, stormy summer evening in Billings, Montana. The change in weather pushed myself (Jerry) and a few friends from the Alive after Five festivities to the classiest bar in town, the Rainbow Bar. I was sipping my drink and talking with friends when the door flung open and a mysterious figure walked through the door. As the door closed, the figure came into focus. To my surprise, it was a beautiful and confident young woman. I was even more surprised when she pulled up a chair and sat next to me. Little did I know she was friends with some of the people in my group.

We spent the next couple of hours talking, laughing, and drinking. We sat on those old torn up bar stools talking about her dogs, camping, and life. The minutes turned into hours, and I started to feel our time coming to an end. I mustered my courage and asked for her number. I felt relief and joy as she gave her number to me.

Over the next year, numerous texts were shared, countless dates and trips spent together with the pups; and WE have never looked back! After a year of adventuring and learning together, I proposed to Margaret, in front of my family on Christmas day.

I, Margret, honestly can't remember what he said to me, but when he popped the question, I immediately said YES!

Now we are so excited to be getting married in front of God, our family, and friends in the mountains of Red Lodge, MT at the beautiful Montana Wildflower Weddings venue.
