We have a new age love story I guess you can say. We met on Facebook of all places, and we just hit it off. 

The proposal was amazing and he completely surprised me, which I might add, is hard to do. He had everything planned down to the internet outage at our house that morning so I wouldn’t check his location to see he was at the house preparing.

So here is the story, after work, me and my coworkers were going to go to happy hour. So I hopped in the car with my coworkers Amy and Sam and we headed out. We stopped at a local boutique first which is not out of the ordinary for us, meanwhile this was a plot to stall while he got things set up. As we left the boutique Amy was going a very weird way to the happy hour location, again, not out of the ordinary because she likes to take long cuts as I call them. We pull up to a park and both Amy and Sam tell me to get out. I was so confused at this point, when I look over and my mom is there. That’s when it hit me that he was going to propose. My mom walked me down to where he was, he had candles and rose petals lining the walkway. When I got down there he asked me to marry him and of course I said yes! It was perfect! My best friend/ matron of honor and his parents where there as well. I couldn’t have asked for a better proposal!

I am excited for the day in general and to marry my soul mate! We picked this location because of the breathtaking grounds and I am excited to have my friends and family enjoy it!
