Love Stories
Jamie + Zeb
Jamie and Zeb met in college, at Montana Tech, in January 2018. They had an on and off “thing” until Zeb graduated college in 2019 and Jamie decided to transfer to Montana State which is when they lost touch. From there, Zeb and Jamie always made the effort to reconnect and find each other when they were in the same place. For example - Cat/Griz in Bozeman in 2019 when Zeb piggybacked Jamie two miles from the bars. That night, with a room full of people around them, Jamie and Zeb caught up on the last 6-months of their lives as Zeb fed Jamie mac and cheese. However, when they returned to their own lives, they lost touch again.
Finally, after 2.5 years of not knowing what they had in front of them - they both wound up in Butte, MT for different reasons in October. That night, they sat down on the streets of Butte and finally confessed their feelings for one another. By the end of November, they were officially dating and very much in love with each other.
On July 27th, 2024 - Jamie and Zeb (and their two dogs, Kenai and Koda) were on day 2 of a 4-day backpacking trip in the Beartooths. They stopped and had lunch in a field of wildflowers by the creek. Zeb mentioned that it was the best spot that they’d seen on the trail and told Jamie to take the dogs to get ready for a picture. Zeb attempted to capture the moment but had trouble setting it up until the third time when it finally stayed perfectly in place. Zeb asked Jamie for a kiss - which she happily obliged - and then Zeb said, “I love you. I love our family. I love your unconditional support.” He then dropped down on one knee and asked Jamie to marry him. Kenai and Koda both jumped on Zeb and beat Jamie to saying yes! Jamie matched their excitement by continuing to say, “YES!” They spent that night stuck in their tent with their two wet dogs due to a very intense rainstorm. Yet, in true Jamie and Zeb fashion, they laughed all night about it and drank warm tequila. They felt blessed to be able to spend the first 2.5 days of their engagement alone with their little family. The second they got into service though - they told everyone they possibly could.
Jamie and Zeb are beyond excited to get married at Montana Wildflower because of the beauty of the property, the fact that Keri understands the vision of an elegant yet extremely fun wedding, and because their bridal party is able to stay on the venue in the Lodge.
Jamie and Zeb are to be married in May of 2024. Stay tuned for behind the scenes posts and additional wedding day photography on our Instagram and Facebook.
