Travis and I met one evening out with mutual friends. During our first couple interactions, we always talked about our shared love of golf among other things, so it only made sense for our first date to be on the golf course. As we dated, golf became one of our favorite passions together. Travis’ two daughters, him, and I would spend many hours on the golf course throughout our relationship.
One summer evening, Travis arranged for a round of golf with just him and I. I had no clue it was going to be such a special round of golf. He played the worst I’ve ever seen at the beginning, shanking the ball repeatedly. He just kept blaming it on an “off day”. On the green of hole six, Travis dropped to one knee and asked me to marry him. After my “yes” and a few happy tears, he explained the reason he was playing golf so poorly was from nerves and excitement. We’re so excited to continue all our adventures and golf together while raising our beautiful family on our farm!
