Ali + Josiah

Josiah and Ali met as Josiah was starting an internship in Billings. There was a BBQ for past and present interns that both attended. Over the course of Josiah's one year internship they met on multiple occasions at group functions where they would talk a little over the course of the event. At the end of Josiah's internship they both attended a wedding for a fellow intern in Josiah's year, it was at that wedding that Josiah realized he had fallen hard for Ali. After that day Josiah knew he had to tell her how he felt, so after much contemplation he had decided on a day to tell her.

Little did he know his timeline would get sped up. Their group of friends had decided to go to the sunflower festival held in Billings, but one by one their friends cancelled and soon it ended up being just Josiah and Ali. It was at that festival that Josiah told Ali how he felt about her. A couple weeks after that day Josiah asked Ali on an official date. They went to the Cider mill and the rest is history. 

Josiah had planned to propose to Ali on a trip that they had planned early October of 2024. However Ali had gotten really sick and they weren't able to go on their trip, Ali was focusing on getting better and Josiah was frantically trying to re-plan his engagement idea. Needless to say it was a slightly stressful couple of weeks. However the Lords plan is always better than ours and Josiah was able to plan for an engagement on the Rims at sunset, over looking the city as all of the trees were changing color. The drive up to the rims was a nervous one for Josiah to say the least, although Ali said she didn't even notice he was nervous. The plan went off without a hitch and Josiah asked Ali to be his wife as the sun was setting casting a warm glow over them. After the proposal they both went to celebrate with friends at the restaurant they went on their first date at.

We look forward to the small and cozy feel of the Wildflower Cabin. Our life is full of packing ourselves and our friends into whatever space will fit us and having an amazing time no matter what. The cozy space of the cabin with the beauty of the mountains and trees is the best of both worlds for our wedding.
